Archivist Gallery is a British brand that since 1996 has created beautiful stationery, cards, matchboxes and small everyday products with a focus on colors, illustrations and classic printmaking.
The brand is family-run and driven by a love for ink, paper and good design. Archivist Gallery owns the UK’s largest dedicated printing house, and heritage, craftsmanship and tradition are an important part of their universe.
At the heart of Archivist Gallery’s expression is the traditional letterpress print. Their mission to revive British printing began in 2010, when co-founder William spontaneously bought an old Heidelberg plate printing press. The special thing about this printing method is that you can not only see the motif on the paper – you can also feel it. The ink is physically pressed into the paper and provides a tactile surface with depth, structure and character.
The Archivist Gallery is especially known for their luxurious gift boxes, where an ordinary household item has been transformed into a small design object. The boxes are loved for their beautiful illustrations, beautiful typography and decorative expression – and are perfect as a hostess gift, advent gift, calendar gift or as a small colorful detail in the home.
The matchboxes are designed to be placed on the front. Next to the candles on the coffee table, on the stove shelf, in the kitchen, in the bathroom or together with coffee table books and beautiful design books. They do something as simple as lighting a candle a little more special.

NatureFlexTM is a plastic-free film made from wood pulp from responsibly managed forests. In their soaps, the Archivist Gallery uses RSPO-certified palm oil to support more responsible cultivation practices and the protection of forests, wildlife and communities.
