From Malmö with love!
Aveva is a Swedish brand that is located right on the other side of the Sound – Malmö. the name Aveva translates to “By Eva” which is Swedish for “By Eva”. Aveva is owned by Eva Gassne-Jeckelmann and her husband Christoph Jeckelmann. Together they started the company in 2011 after many more trips around the world where they found inspiration – among other things from felt production in Nepal.
The sustainability of Aveva flows throughout production and distribution. The materials are natural, including wool, hemp and Swedish wood. Production takes place locally and in collaboration with skilled craftsmen.
To avoid overproduction, only what is needed is produced, and the risk of overproduction is reduced by the products being handmade.
Aveva excels in felt, which you want to reintroduce to the Nordic homes.
The felt products are made of 100% organic wool from New Zealand, which is dyed with AZO-free dye. Furthermore, the material is biodegradable so that it does not affect the climate.
