Pink Rose lamps
Pink Rose started out as Shop 26 on Lyngby Hovedgade when the store opened its doors for the first time in 1975. Later, the store moved to Ordrupvej in Charlottenlund under the same name.
Pink Rose Lamps have been producing hand-blown glass lamps with their own handmade pleated lampshades made of paper for more than 40 years. The lamps are produced at one of the most beautiful glassworks in the Czech Republic – they are mouth blown and vary in colour and shape. Each lamp is unique as it is free-blown and therefore small bubbles may appear in the glass and small thin lines after movement. It is part of the life that is in mouth-blown glass.
Generational change
In 2008, we closed Shop 26, but production of Pink Rose Lamps continued at Nordbygård on Møn. In 2019, the next generation, Anne Sofie and Frederik Worm took over the company, and the entire screen production was moved back to Copenhagen and both our workshop, warehouse and showroom are located at Amager today.
The screens are painted and folded by hand at our workshop in Denmark. The lampshades are manufactured in over 20 solid colours – in solid colours, with a pattern or with a coloured border. If you want a color outside the range, this can be specially produced: only your imagination sets limits.
The lampshades can be combined with Pink Rose’s own table lamps, but can also be used on heirlooms or flea finds. Furthermore, the lampshades are available as pendants and rosettes, for use in ceilings or on walls.
