In 2007, a small red-haired Bornholmer travelled from Svaneke to Copenhagen. With him he had his secret recipe for the world’s best pizza dough and the desire to spread pizza love and smile on the lips of the Danes. Bornholmeren found five good friends who were as fond of his pizza as they were of Italy’s delights: wines, specialties and good ingredients. Together, the six friends have built Gorm’s, which started with a single restaurant in 2008, but which today consists of 13 successful restaurants spread over most of Denmark. More are on the way and it has also become a small detour to Nagasaki in Japan.
