A beautiful and decorative matchbox from Archivist Gallery with a peaceful and poetic motif. The box has a soft off-white background with an elegant dove illustrated in blue shades, framed by a fine blue border. It says “Peace on Earth” withe design an exclusive expression and emphasizing the message of peace, hope and concern.
The fine details continue inside the box, where the matches have white sulfur heads and are decorated with small gold stars. A special detail that makes even something as simple as matches a small design experience.
Archivist Gallery’s matchboxes are much more than just practical matches. They are small design objects that are designed to be placed next to the candles, on the coffee table, on the fireplace shelf or together with beautiful design books and other personal details in the home.
The special feature of the Archivist Gallery is their classic letterpress print. The motif is not just printed flat on paper – it is pressed into the paper on old-fashioned printing presses and gives the box a tactile surface with depth, structure and character. In this box, the gold letters add a beautiful and exclusive game to the blue and off-white design.
Peace on Earth is ideal as a small hostess gift, advent gift, calendar gift or as an extra nice detail together with a scented candle, candlestick or other personal gift. Its peaceful motif also makes it particularly suitable for Christmas, but its simple and elegant expression makes it beautiful to have lying on the ground all year round.
The box contains approximately 125 matches and combines function, traditional craftsmanship and decorative design with a fine message.

Description
Matches from the Archivist Gallery
Matches from the Archivist Gallery are far more than just something practical for lighting a candle. The iconic boxes are small design objects in themselves – created with beautiful illustrations, colorful typography and the special tactile feel that characterizes classic letterpress printing. Archivist Gallery is a British family-owned brand with a great love for paper, print and good craftsmanship. Their matchboxes are printed in the UK and made with a focus on both quality and aesthetics. The boxes are decorative enough to lie on the coffee table, next to the candles, in the bathroom, in the kitchen or together with beautiful coffee table books and design books. The large matches make it easy to light candles, block candles, scented candles, lanterns, fireplaces or bonfires – without burning your fingers. At the same time, the boxes are so beautiful that they also function as a small gift in themselves. Use them as a hostess gift, advent gift, calendar gift, almond gift or as a little extra along with a candle, soap, vase or other nice gift. It’s such an everyday item that you really always need – just in a much more beautiful version. At Remix by Sofie you will find Archivist Gallery matches in many different designs, colours and expressions. Some are graphic and humorous, others botanical, poetic or vintage-inspired – but common to them all is that they do something as simple as light a candle a little more special.
