Confetti glass – pastello (purple, lilac, coral and mint green)

The series is produced in Bohemia in the Czech Republic by Anna von Lipa. It is mouth blown at one of the glassworks, which can work with this technique. The special water and sand are an important ingredient in the creation of these beautiful crystal glasses. For each glass or jug, a carpenter makes a wooden mold, which is used for pattern and size. Making a mouth-blown crystal glass or jug is a long process. There are many stages in the process where the glass needs to be mixed, the oven needs to be ready, the mold needs to be made, the glass needs to be inflated, the excess glass needs to be cut off, the edges need to be burned and sanded. Therefore, this glass costs slightly more than a lot of produced glass. However, the price is still at the low end, for a piece of craftsmanship.
