This series is inspired by the nature around the Douro River in Portugal. The way the colours meet brings to mind the movement in the water and the colours remind us of the lush landscape. It is an elegant series and there is both beauty and tranquility over the beautiful expression. Everything is designed with the utmost care and attention to detail. It is glazed with a matt glaze and can easily be mixed with many of the other plates. The picture is indicative.
