Bread basket “RAFFIA CIRCLE” 30 x 4 cm in brown

A beautiful and simple bread basket from A World of Craft, hand-woven in powerful raffia. The round shape and fine braided pattern give the basket a natural and calm expression that fits well on both the breakfast table, lunch table and the covered dinner table.

Raffia is a durable natural material that grows in tropical areas in Africa. The fibres come from the leaves of the raffia palm, where the material from the underside of the leaf is processed and twisted into strong fibres, which are then braided by hand.

The basket is produced in Madagascar under fair trade conditions. This means that there is a focus on proper working conditions, local production and traditional craft techniques.

Use the basket for bread and buns, but also for fruit, napkins or small items on the table. It is both practical and decorative and can easily stand out when not in use.
