A good bread basket is one of the things you almost always end up using. Whether you bake homemade bread, serve muffins for brunch or cut fresh rye bread for the lunch table, it just looks a little more inviting when the bread comes on the table in a real bread basket instead of just on a plate or a cutting board.
At Remix by Sofie we love the small details in the table setting. It doesn’t have to be just when guests arrive. Also on a normal everyday life, a finely braided bread basket or a bread basket in raffia, rattan or textile can make the table more unified and make the serving a little more well thought out.
It also makes sense to have more than one size. A small bread basket is perfect when there are just two or four around the table, while a larger bread basket is good for brunch, dinner parties or when there should be several kinds of bread on the table.
In our selection you will find different bread baskets in both natural materials, braid and textile, and several of the models are handmade and produced under fair trade conditions. This means that there may be slight variations in weave, shape and colour, and this helps to give them their personal expression.
Of course, bread baskets can also be used for things other than bread. They work great for buns, croissants, muffins, cakes, snacks, napkins or fruit, depending on size and material.
