De Lange Tafel – where dreams become reality
De Lange Tafel is a creative universe with both shop and studio, created and run by twin sisters Nikki and Dafne. They have always been dreamers; as little girls, they could disappear into their own thoughts and ideas – and they still do. Creativity has always been a natural part of their lives. But dreams only become reality when you dare to act on them, and without a firm plan, but with a strong belief in their intuition, they took the plunge and started their own business in the first storeroom that appeared on their way.
In 2019, their journey began in a small 30-square-foot shop in the native town of Gennep. From here, De Lange Tafel grew steadily – from three stores in Gennep and Nijmegen to one large, inspiring shop in the heart of Nijmegen, where everything today is gathered to maintain focus and presence.
From 2025, their studio will be based in Milsbeek – a place filled with creative energy, where they design and produce their own textile brand and work on special assignments for both companies and private customers.
In the shop and online shop, De Lange Tafel presents their own label with art (also on demand), interior and lifestyle products, baby and children's accessories and much more. Many of the products have a special connection to the local area – such as hand-drawn illustrations and reinterpreted maps of towns and villages. In addition, a carefully selected range of kitchen accessories, bakery items, jewelry, bags and garden accessories – all selected with an eye for quality, function and aesthetics.
Behind The Long Tafel
Nikki and Dafne are ambitious and detail-oriented. They are perfectionists who love to create and develop. They thrive best when many things happen at once – and help each other find the balance.
Entrepreneurship lies in their blood, and even when the studio is filled, you can hear their characteristic, loving tricks and laughs.
They love fun and socializing with family and friends – preferably around a long table with a 10-course dinner, which they naturally stand in the kitchen and prepare. Their passion for structure, logistics and organisation is another driving force that they hope to explore even further in the future.
De Lange Tafel is more than just a brand.
