Tomato knife from the French Sabre Paris Bistrot collection – one of those small kitchen assistants that you quickly become really fond of.

The special thing about a tomato knife is the fine thanks on the blade. They easily grab onto the smooth skin of the tomato, allowing you to cut neat, thin slices without first grinding the tomato flat. It also makes it good for other soft ingredients with a slightly cooler surface, where a regular smooth knife may well have difficulty getting a proper grip.

Use it for tomatoes for salads, sandwiches and rye bread, but also for smaller fruits, soft vegetables and other small kitchen tasks. A rather indispensable knife once you get used to it.

The Bistrot series is inspired by the classic French cafés and restaurants with visible rivets, coloured handles and a simple expression that feels both traditional and modern.

Length: Approx. 23.1 cm
Material: AISI 420 stainless steel for the sharp blade – PBT handle
Dishwasher: Yes, max. 45°C

When hand washing, it is recommended to avoid scouring sponges. If small marks or rings appear on the blade, they can usually be removed with a soft cloth and some white vinegar.

Description
Create a restaurant atmosphere at home in your own dining room with Sabre's delicious "Bisto" series. The design is inspired by classic bistro style and is available in the most beautiful colors, so just choose your favourite colors! The delicious cutlery is produced in France. The designer is called Pascale and he has since 1993 produced cutlery of different styles but with the common denominator that each series is produced in a myriad of colors. Pascale was the son of a jeweller family and at a very young age became absorbed in the art of setting up a nice table. He began producing cutlery with the desire to combine good craftsmanship and his sense of colours, materials and shapes. Today he runs the production with his wife Francis. Among other things, the couple broke with the conventions when they created the first cutlery in gingham design, and therefore brought what they associated with picnic cutlery into everyday use. They are also known for presenting their cutlery as if it were a bouquet of many colorful flowers.
