“Toffee Kantha Ornament is made from remnants of Kantha carpets. It is perfect for decorating the most joyful Christmas tree and spreading the Christmas spirit throughout the house!
Every year you can decorate your Christmas tree or your home with this ornament. The kantha pieces used for this ornament are the excess pieces from the production of the upcycled kantha carpet garments in our collections. The Kantha embroidery technique creatively reuses old cotton saris previously worn by Indian women and gives them new life as upcycled garments. As part of our values, we value the idea of upcycling and the use of existing excess substances. This way we minimise the production of new materials.

The beautiful silk Christmas ornaments from Sissel Edelbo are so decorative in their beautiful colors and patterns. Hang them on the Christmas tree, beautiful troll branches, decorate them on the table or in a bowl. Hang them in small silk cords in the window, to create a mood. You can also use them as a nice little detail on your Christmas gift wrapping. All the beautiful birds, hearts, angels, candy canes and mushrooms are made of sustainable silk from used saris. They are made from the surplus and the fabric residues for the various dresses, bags and shirts that are in Sissel Edelbo’s collection. So it’s sustainable Christmas decorations that you can store and take forward year after year.
