Deia from Glaze is a cup with a lid, perfect for lattes, Americano or other slightly larger coffees. It holds about 240 ml, which gives a good cup of coffee that can be enjoyed at a slow pace – without being so large that the coffee quickly gets cold.
Deia has a natural, light bottom with a beautiful pastel glaze at the top. The colours move in soft light blue and delicate tones, giving the cup a calm and slightly Mediterranean-inspired feel.
The cup is inspired by Deia in Mallorca – a small artist town between mountains and sea, known for its soft, romantic and relaxed atmosphere. It fits perfectly with the look of the cup, where the natural bottom meets the bright, calm colours of the glaze.
The cup has a glazed inside and is food approved, so it is naturally made for everyday use with coffee, tea and other hot drinks.
Each Glaze cup is handmade in small series in Portugal, and therefore there may be slight variations in colour, glaze and volume. It’s part of the charm and makes every cup unique.
The cup comes in a gift box with a silicone lid. If you drink a lot of hot drinks, black coffee or tea, it may be a good idea to add a silicone sleeve that protects your fingers from the heat and provides a better grip.
