Amsterdam from Glaze is a “to go” cup with a lid made of stoneware and a beautiful, liquid glaze where the colors blend together on each cup. The bottom has a light blue, while the top moves over into greenish blue shades with a darker blue play. This gives the cup a vivid and almost water-coloured appearance, where no two cups are exactly alike.
The cup is ideal for morning coffee, coffee on the go, commuting, walking and everyday use. The lid is made of 100% food grade silicone and closes tightly, so the cup is easy to take with you when you are taking your coffee out the door.
Amsterdam is handmade in Portugal in natural ceramic stoneware and burned at 1400 °C, making the cup strong and durable. During the firing process, each cup will have its own glaze finish, so there may be slight variations in colour, glaze and surface. It’s part of the charm and makes every cup unique.
The ceramic retains the pure taste of the coffee and feels comfortable in the hand. The curved bottom is designed for a good coffee pour, and the cup keeps the coffee warm for approximately 45-60 minutes at a comfortable drinking temperature.
Amsterdam is practical in everyday life and can be used in both a dishwasher, microwave and oven. The lid is easy to clean and the glaze is food safe and free of BPA, PFAS and phthalates.
