Black Forest from Glaze is a “To go” cup with a stoneware lid with a brown glaze placed on top of a white base. The glaze gives the cup a vivid expression, and on some cups a small white border appears where the base appears. The grey-brown lid is made of 100% silicone and closes tightly so that the cup is ideal for coffee on the go, commuting and everyday use.
The cup is handmade in Portugal in natural ceramic stoneware and fired at 1400 °C, making it strong and durable. Each cup has its own glaze finish during firing, so no cups are exactly alike. This gives Black Forest a personal touch with slight variations in colour, edge and surface.
The ceramic retains the pure taste of the coffee and feels comfortable in the hand. The curved bottom is designed for a good coffee pour, and the cup keeps the coffee warm for approximately 45-60 minutes at a comfortable drinking temperature.
Black Forest is practical in everyday life and can be used in both dishwashers, microwaves and ovens. The lid is made of food grade silicone and is easy to clean. The icing is food safe and free of BPA, PFAS and phthalates.
