For each glass or jug, a carpenter makes a wooden mold, which is used for pattern and size. Making a mouth-blown crystal glass or jug is a long process. There are many stages in the process where the glass needs to be mixed, the oven needs to be ready, the mold needs to be made, the glass needs to be inflated, the excess glass needs to be cut off, the edges need to be burned and sanded.
