Bowl in hedgehog glass 24 cm – Yellow (Citron)

The beautiful bowl from Anna von Lipa in porcupine glass is available in 3 sizes. This is the largest of the bowls with a diameter of 23 cm. It is super decorative just to have standing, but also for fruit, snack or a salad. I've also had hyacinths with onions and moss in a bowl. Spend that Christmas with nice Christmas balls, it really is a beautiful sight. The porcupine glass series is produced in Bohemia in the Czech Republic. It is mouth blown at one of the old glassworks, where you are still proud craftsmen with special traditions. Their special water and sand are an important ingredient in the creation of the entire series. The sand is thus an important ingredient in the glass itself. For each glass or jug, a carpenter makes a wooden mold, which is used for pattern and size. Making a mouth-blown crystal glass or jug is a long process. There are many stages in the process where the glass needs to be mixed, the oven needs to be ready, the mold needs to be made, the glass needs to be inflated, the excess glass needs to be cut off, the edges need to be burned and sanded. Therefore, this glass costs slightly more than a lot of produced glass. However, the price is still at the low end, for a piece of craftsmanship. Since they are mouth blown glass, they can vary slightly in thickness and diameter at the hole. You have to love the diversity and accept that there may be air bubbles and that it is part of the charm. All the mouth-blown glasses from Anna von Lipa can go into the dishwasher. Height: 10 cm Ø: 23 The colors are: Blue smoke, dark amber, pink, garnet red, acid purple, light green, beryl, lemon and light blue.
