Small braided Christmas heart from Maileg in metal – a classic Christmas decoration in dark red and off-white.

The heart has the familiar braided look that most people associate with Danish Christmas.

It sits on a fine woven army cord in red and white with for hanging, so the heart can easily be hung on the Christmas tree, on a troll branch in a vase or from a branch in the window sill. It is also great to put directly on the table as part of the Christmas table, perhaps accompanied by spruce, candles and small Maileg figures.

The hearts are available in several colors and sizes, so they are fine to mix if you want to create a cozy and slightly old-fashioned Christmas atmosphere with small details.

Maileg is a Danish brand founded by Dorthe Mailil, who is known for their imaginative world of toys and other accessories that create joy among children and grow. Especially Maileg are known for their charming mouse dolls with all kinds of accessories and clothes.

But Maileg also makes decorations/nips and accessories for drill covers, including napkins, hangings, and figurines. Maileg was founded in 1999 by Dorte herself and her husband. The starting point for Maileg is Dorte’s own enjoyment of childhood and imagination, which she believes should be a part of all age groups. Maileg is a contraction of Dorte's surname Mailil and the word "play".
