Hannah Koppen – Grey

Marie Langå graduated as a ceramicist from the Academy of Fine Arts’ School of Design, Bornholm, in 2008. All her products are developed and produced from her own workshop in Sorø. She works with molded porcelain tools. The functionality fascinates her, as the items are handled and used every day. Her products are usually based on an underlying idea and a game involving manipulation of materials. In the design process, she also works with sewn models, which form the basis for the final product in porcelain. She is very concerned about the meeting between materials and recognisability.
