Chug Mug – Tokyo Series from Studio Arhøj
Chug Mug is one of Studio Arhøj’s most iconic ceramic cups and was launched in April 2017 as part of the Tokyo tableware series. The cup is known for its simple graphic expression and its large, distinctive handle, which makes it comfortable to hold – even when the cup is filled with hot drinks.
This ceramic stoneware cup is of a good size, making it perfect for coffee, tea or cocoa. It is designed for everyday use and fits equally well on the desk, at the breakfast table or on the sofa when enjoying a hot drink and a good series.
Chug Mug is hand-cast and glazed, and each cup has its own unique expression. Variations in colour, glaze and surface are a natural part of handmade ceramics, and images are therefore indicative.
The cup’s shape is slightly higher and narrower than many classic ceramic cups, providing a good grip and a pleasant drinking experience. The large handle makes it easy to use – even if you want to have your hands free between sips.

Chug Mug is dishwasher-safe, but handwashing is recommended to preserve the finish and colours of the glaze for as long as possible.
