The story behind our Rhinestone Christmas trees
Rhinestone Christmas trees here. These vintage Christmas trees are handmade with old rhinestones, and most of them are unique. However, there may be individual models, especially in the clear stones, which are available in several copies. The Christmas trees are hand-assembled in an area of northern Bohemia in the Czech Republic, which before the Second World War was known as the headquarters for jewelry- and crystal production.
The many workshops in the area were run by the German minority, who were displaced after the war because of their support for Germany. Subsequently, the Czech Republic was occupied by the Soviet Union for 40 years, and the workshops remained untouched throughout this period. Only after the fall of the wall did the large stocks of jewellery components and rhinestones resume being traded.
Unfortunately, many of the old stones have been used up, and they are now being replaced by new stones. However, our Christmas trees still carry the rich history and beauty of this area, making them something truly special.
Our collection of rhinestone Christmas trees come in several sizes, so you can find the perfect tree for your home. We have small Christmas trees of 10-14 cm, medium and large trees of 14-20 cm, and the impressive Mega trees. These different sizes allow you to create a unique and varied Christmas decoration. Reindeer are made entirely of clear stones and are popular to put next to the larger Christmas trees in rhinestones. The beautiful angels are also a great gift idea and many people put them next to a picture of a family member who has passed away. Others think that an angel watches over them.
