Small handmade Christmas tree with rhinestones
These small Christmas trees are some of the most atmospheric Christmas decorations you can have standing at Christmas time. They shine beautifully in the light – both from candles and electric light – and create a cozy, warm atmosphere, whether they are on the windowsill, on a shelf, as part of a table decoration or gathered in small groups in different sizes and colors.
The Christmas trees are handmade and composed of rhinestones, which are attached individually with small metal holders – just like you attach a stone to a ring or earring. The stones are placed on the front of the tree, while the back is smooth.
The Christmas trees were initially made of old gemstones from the 1940s. Today, only new stones are used, which are put together to create a unique expression.
Should a stone loosen, it can easily be put back on – use a small herb knife to gently open the metal gardens, put the stone in place, and bend the gardens back gently. When Christmas is over, we recommend that you pack the wood carefully so that it is stable and protected, so that it retains its shape year after year.
Each tree is unique and measures between 11 and 12.5 cm in height – a small piece of nostalgic craftsmanship that spreads the joy of Christmas wherever it stands.

The wonderful story of the rhinestone Christmas trees.
The beautiful vintage Christmas trees – are handmade old rhinestones. Most are unique, but there may be individual models, especially in the clear stones, of which there are several. The Christmas trees are hand-assembled in an area of northern Bohemia in the Czech Republic. The area formed the headquarters for jewelry and crystal production before World War II. The many workshops were run by the German minority, who were expelled after the war – because they supported Germany. The Czech Republic was subsequently occupied by the Soviet Union for 40 years and remained untouched throughout that period. It was not until the fall of the wall that the large stocks of jewellery components and rhinestones were again traded. These are still the stones that are still used to collect the Christmas trees. This means that most of the stones are from the 30-40’s and the plate they are placed on is a brooch component. Each employee can make between 2-3 trees in a day, so it takes time with the craft. Since the Christmas trees are often unique, it is not possible to reorder them in certain colors. Then there's a combination you love, so hit it - it'll hardly come back.Specifications
