The Mahaba series – hand-painted ceramics in beautiful pastels

At Remix by Sofie we have created something very special. The Mahaba series is an exclusive collection that we have developed in close cooperation with skilled artisans. We have spent over a year refining the expression – from patterns to colours – and the result is a series we are proud of.

The name Mahaba means love in Swahili – and it reflects the whole idea behind the series. Each piece is handmade and hand-painted, and the painter signs the products himself. You get something unique and personal that is only available with us.

The Mahaba series is painted in the finest pastels – pink, baby pink, light yellow, baby blue, mint green, light blue, blue, light green, light purple and yellow – and the hand-painted patterns vary in expression and shape. The series is both beautiful and functional, and each piece is perfectly suited for both everyday life and special occasions.

Material and application

The Mahaba series is made of stoneware, which makes it robust and durable. It is dishwasher- and microwave-compatible, so you can use it again and again in everyday life. Because each product is handmade, there will naturally be slight variations in glaze and pattern – and this is exactly what makes the series so charming and vibrant.

Only available at Remix by Sofie

The Mahaba series has been developed exclusively for Remix by Sofie and is not available anywhere else. We have put time and love into every choice, and you can feel it when you have it in your hand.

You can mix the colors crisscross – or combine a consistent style into your favourite color. Regardless, you get ceramics with a soul and character that light up every table.

You can find the entire series both in our store in Brønshøj and online at the webshop. The range is highly sought after – and because everything is made by hand, new deliveries may vary in terms of colour and detail. If you have fallen in love with a particular expression, it is a good idea to hit it.
