An enchanting decoration shaped like a kingfisher, handmade in soft and sustainable woolen felt. The bird is beautifully coloured in shades of blue and rust red, just like the real kingfisher, which with its intense colour play is one of nature's most eye-catching birds. It is mounted with a red and white hanging cord, ready to hang on the Christmas tree or decorate a decorative branch.

The kingfisher is a rare sight in Denmark, but when you are lucky enough to spot it, it is like a little glimpse of exotic color in the Nordic nature. It symbolizes peace, beauty and a keen eye for nature’s details – everything this fine felt decoration represents.

Each bird is handcrafted in Nepal by women working under Fair Trade conditions. The production provides stable income and preserves traditional craft techniques while supporting local families and small communities.
