Felt Bird – Dompap
A beautiful and colorful decoration shaped like a dompap, handmade in sustainable woolen felt with attention to detail. The bird is shaped with the characteristic red breast color, dark wings and grey back – just like the real dompap, which is one of the most beloved birds in Denmark this winter.

The dompappen is a regular guest in the Danish gardens during the winter months, where it is often seen by the feeding board along with other small birds. It is easily recognized by its calm behaviour and soft whistle – a symbol of tranquility and the beauty of nature in the midst of the cold season.

The felt figure is equipped with a red and white cord so that it can easily be hung on the Christmas tree, in a branch or as a decorative detail in the home.

Each bird is handcrafted in Nepal by women working under Fair Trade conditions. Production provides secure income and supports the local community financially, while preserving old craft traditions.
