Plates & bowls
We love to cover the table with beautiful plates and it is more popular than ever to mix different styles, colors and patterns – only your imagination sets the limits. Many have several different types of plates and bowls that can be used to highlight the food. At Remix by Sofie we have both colored handmade plates and plates with a more classic look. Create life on the table with beautiful plates on the table. Read more at the bottom of the page.
We have grown to love using colours in the home and it has become popular to show our service in cabinets, set boxes and in open kitchens on shelves. In the past, people used to store their dinnerware inside the cupboard, but that time has long since passed. It has always been very popular to collect a certain type of frame, and in the past it was something you got as a wedding gift. That's why many probably have some sort of frame that you've inherited. There were also everyday frames and a frame that came out on festive occasions or on Sundays. Time has changed and we are probably much more aware of using it – rather than saving it away.
We spend time on the table setting and it is probably the second most important thing after the meal when you get guests to visit. It also creates a great atmosphere if you have taken the time to set a nice table – it can always impress the guests. It can be a good idea to have a color that is more consistent than the others. Use our colorful vases and glasses to give the last one a little touch and maybe some of our beautiful colored candles.
All our dishes and bowls can go into the dishwasher. So if you’ve fallen in love with a couple of our beautiful plates, just put them in your basket. We accept orders for dishes from our handmade dishes.
